This gorgeous fall engagement session at Great Falls Park in Maryland was the perfect way to capture Alina and Axl’s love. These two are so kind and gentle to each other, and it was so great getting to know them before their wedding day! 

Maryland Engagement Photo Locations

I met Alina and Axl at sunrise on a foggy, late October morning and hiked through the woods to this beautiful water feature. When they first reached out to plan their engagement session, they knew they wanted a location that was a bit unique and really showcased the natural beauty of Maryland. Even though it takes a bit of a walk to get to this spot, it was totally worth it! The view was absolutely gorgeous and we had it all to ourselves. The morning fog gave us the perfect lighting and soft fall colors, and we couldn’t have asked for anything better. 

Alina & Axl are so fun to be around, and their love is truly radiant. This session was full of sweet moments and plenty of laughter, making it easy for me to capture photos of them being their authentic selves. For any couples who are nervous about being in front of the camera for the first time, I recommend that you focus on each other and on having a great time! You may have preconceived notions about whether or not you are “photogenic,” but enjoying yourself and focusing on your partner allows me to get the best photos possible.
